Courses  

  • PHIL 1032 How Science Works: Gen Ed course (BoKs NS and QR) provides an introduction to the nature of science and to wide range of scientific methods and patterns of reasoning.
  • R&D Group: Students interested in public engagement with science are welcome to get involved with the interdisciplinary PEWS Research and Discussion) group that meets regularly through the year. See the R&D channel in MS Teams for recent topics and meeting announcements. Students may sign up for a 1-credit each semester for involvement in this group (HUM4001).

Internships

  • PEWS sometimes mentors UHP summer interns and project-specific undergraduate internships; reach out to discuss your interest in this opportunity.
