Science on Tap: Oak Heritage Conservancy Success Stories

Science on Tap’s fall series program begins on September 13th with a presentation from the director of the Oak Heritage Conservancy, Jack Sutton. Sutton will discuss how land trusts work to help combat climate change, protect water and land for future generations and provide access to nature. Everyone is welcome to learn about the work being done across Indiana to preserve the land’s natural environment.

Local author and community leader Peter Block is coming to the Cincinnati Nature Center to discuss ways to protect nature over coffee. Peter’s work focuses on fighting for a better world through connectedness. The Cincinnati Nature Center invites you to bring your experiences, your hopes, and your doubts on protecting nature to this program. Preregistration is required for this program.
Fall 2023 Community Convening

Science Harvest at the Northside Farmers Market

Science Harvest is a PEWS sponsored program in partnership with UC’s Geosciences Department and Northside Farmers Market. This program strives to share science with market attendees, both adults and kids, through conversations about science and hands-on science activities. Drop by to learn about science from UC graduate students via hands-on activities and demonstrations every third Wednesday of the month.
