Join one of our community partners, the Mercantile Library, for their upcoming Science & Nature Lecture with Angela Saini on Tuesday, September 19th at 6pm. Angela Saini is an award-winning science journalist and author. She has a Masters in Engineering from Oxford University and a Masters in Science and Security from King’s College London.
At the Mercantile Library, she will discuss her new book The Patriarchs: How Men Came to Rule in addition to two of her other books, Superior: The Return of Race Science and Inferior: How Science Got Women Wrong. Her books have been translated into more than a dozen languages and have been shortlisted for many major awards, including the LA Times Book Prize. She is the founder and chair of the Royal Society’s “Challenging Pseudoscience” group and served on the Lancet Covid-19 Global Policy Committee.
